Wi-Fi is available to the public for free in order to facilitate seamless research by anyone wishing to use it. The library hosts various programmes including business workshops, youth workshops and other public events with the aim to empower the community and those that live in it by providing information and training on how to start a business, how to write a CV, how to apply to institutions of higher learning and ofcourse how to efficiently use the Internet. There is a book club meeting every 1st Thursday of each month hosted by the friends of the Witpoortjie Library, where book club members share exciting information about books. Yes Witpoortjie Library has 3 computers for public use. You must speak to library staff to book the computer and use it for the allocated time. Bring your own memory stick/usb to save your work. Usually there is internet connectivity- (free wifi) so you can connect and search the internet.

      Good luck

Thank you for your interest in our library services. Membership is FREE for everyone from all ages. You can register for free online. Click on Membership from the website homepage (www.cojelearning.org.za), and fill in the Google form. Your membership numbers will be ready within 7 working days. You can use that membership number for E-books and audiobooks through the Libby app, and other online resources like digital newspapers and magazines, or online articles for research through our website. You can also use it at any of the 87 City of Johannesburg libraries for printed books. You can also visit any branch to use study areas. You can ALSO register your school as an institutional member so that you can borrow a number of books for pupils, but they can also register as individuals.
