Savoy Library

The Savoy Library is staffed by a Librarian and two Library Assistants. The collection at Savoy Library consists of adult and junior fiction and non-fiction books. Magazines are available for swapping and for reading in the library and there is also a collection of reference books. These items are provided by the City of Johannesburg Municipality. There is no formal study area, but tables and chairs are available in the main study area. Wi-Fi is available for free in the library and study centre. During July and December school holidays the Library hosts story times. These are always well attended and enjoyed by the children. There is also a weekly story time. Savoy library participates in the citywide ECD programme. Books are distributed to specific creches in the area to assist with teaching.

  1. hi. I am looking to renew my library card,
So that I can get digital books on Libby
Can I do that without coming into the library? And pay digitally too please.
