Roodepoort Library

Roodepoort Library is situated in the city of Roodepoort town, west of Johannesburg. It is surrounded by schools, colleges and businesses. We serve a variety of people from different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Our services are open and extended to old age homes, NPOs and a variety of business people. The library offers study areas for students who are coming for the purpose of study and for the utilisation of the available WiFi. The library has also got computers available for use and also offers guidance on the use of these computers. The library also hosts and engages with the community through a variety of programmes such as Science Scuffle, Battle of the Books, Story Skirmish, Story Time, Business workshops. These are also a variety of targetted programmes such as Health Lifestyle Events, Teen book Club events, Career Expos, Holiday Programmes to name a few.
