  3. Hello, I’m information science student, and I looking for a library where I can volunteer can I come to your library?

    1. Hi Mbavhalelo
Congratulations on your studies. We do not accept volunteers in our library branches due to City regulations. However, for Library and Information Science students, when you have done a certain level of studies, we work with your institution to provide you with “work-place-learning” opportunities for a specific period prescribed by your institution, so that you can gain experience. This is coordinated through your departmental lecturers and they can advise when you are ready to receive in-service training. Please speak to your university department.

      Good luck
