Protea Glen Library

Protea Glen Library is committed to helping children and adults develop the skills they need to survice and thrives in a global information society, the ability to read and use computers. Basic functional literacy is an essential skill for individual’s personal and professional growth. The library has a good collection of non-fiction and fiction books. Juvenile has picture books for toddlers, juvenile beginner readers which have different levels depending on the child’s reading level. Protea Glen Library hosts a story times on Wednesday’s afternoons at 15:00pm. During public school holidays we host special holiday programmes for children. We also have venues for lectures, exhibitions and talks.

      Thank you for your interest in our library services. To take books out, you can visit your nearest library with your ID and proof of residence, so that you apply for membership. You can also apply for membership online through our website http://www.cojelearning.org.za on the menu you choose membership.

    I am Thabo Leremi and i reside at Protea Glen’ i chose Protea Glen library to render my EGov- services that will benefit my own community.

    I am writing to you on behalf of the SWGC TVET college in collaboration with the Gauteng department of eGovernment and the university of Johannesburg to seek your permission for a project aimed at promoting and creating awareness about various services provided by our department to the citizens of Gauteng province.

      You can apply for membership from our website cojelearning.org.za click on membership and fill in the form. It will take you 7 days to get your memebrship and you will use that number at any of our libraries.

      You can use our libraries without the library card, to read books inside or for study if there are study areas. If you need a membership card, you can apply for it online on our website http://www.cojelearning.org.za under membership. You will get that membership within 7 days and it will allow you to take books out or ebooks.
